Singapore | Choreographer, Artistic Director of Decadance Co
Rachel Lum graduated from the dance programme at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2011. Following her studies, she was an apprentice at Frontier Danceland and a founding member of Re:Dance Theatre, where she worked both as a performer and in artistic training. In 2017, she joined Arts Fission Company as a movement artist.
Her work encompasses choreography, performance and projects in Singapore and abroad. Her work No Corners was presented at the Lift Off Dance Festival in the United Kingdom, while her performing career includes appearances at festivals in Singapore, Macao and Shanghai.
She is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Decadance Co. At STEPS 2026, she choreographs one of the two works that make up The 11th Hour.
