Official closing of the Transilvania STEPS International Festival 2026
In a world dominated by speed, constant connectivity and an unbroken succession of stimuli, Neverending transforms the experience of repetition into a choreographic language. The performance begins with the idea of an existence caught in a cycle that seems to leave no room to pause and reflect.
Through the body and movement, choreographer Feng Xiao-ming explores the tension between acceleration and the suspension of time, between repetition and the possibility of breaking free from a mechanism that perpetually reproduces itself. Successive gestures and cycles of movement create a space in which the restlessness of contemporary life is examined from within.
Presented by BeijingDance/LDTX, Neverending closes the 2026 edition with a reflection on one of the defining experiences of the present: the feeling that the world moves ceaselessly, and the need to recover, within this flow, the capacity to observe and reflect.
